Dangal actress Suhani Bhatnagar, who played the role of young Babita Phogat in the 2016 blockbuster film, passed away at the age of 19 on Saturday, February 17, 2024. She was suffering from health complications due to fluid accumulation in her body, which was caused by a reaction to the medication she took for a leg fracture. She was undergoing treatment at AIIMS, Delhi, but could not survive. Her funeral was held in Faridabad, where her family, friends, and colleagues from the film industry paid their last respects.
Suhani Bhatnagar was a talented and promising actress, who rose to fame with her performance in Dangal, a biographical sports drama based on the life of wrestler Mahavir Singh Phogat and his daughters Geeta and Babita.
